Leftovers Junk Hauling and Waste Disposal is owned by Billy Ray who is the eldest of eight siblings. He was raised by a loving mother and father who has provided the truest example commitment by remaining together for more than 40 years. As the son of a retired Navy Chief Petty Officer, Billy Ray learned the importance of integrity, honesty, and discipline. His mother, a loving wife and devoted mother, would often remind him of the importance of having a dream, setting goals, and achieving them.
His first job was washing dishes for a catering company off Bourbon Street in the heart of New Orleans, Louisiana. Upon graduating high school he completed culinary school specializing in French, Creole, and Cajun Cuisine. His experiences during his culinary career has taken him in many directions, including working for The Hyatt Regency, Sheraton, Emeril Lagasse, Brennan Family, Delta Queen Steamboat Co, Offshore Catering Companies and other great establishments.
Catering and restaurant ownership was the plan until this unique business opportunity kind of fell into his lap...so to speak. Billy Ray was provided with an opportunity he couldn’t refuse, and as an added bonus, he was able to use his skill set he learned in the hospitality industry and apply it to the waste removal industry. Service industries all share one common philosophy and that is to always provide customer service. Billy Ray is passionate about bringing the same philosophy from the hospitality industry to the waste industry. He is committed to working hard and doing his part to protect the environment.
